Major Events
FEBRUARY
- Independence Day & A national holiday with special events and celebrations island wide.
MAY
- St. Lucia Jazz Festival & this is an annual festival organized by the St. Lucia Tourist Board where renowned international artists display their talent. It is an event not to be missed.
- Festival of Comedy & an annual fundraiser organized by the ST. Lucia National Trust. This festival features Caribbean storytellers and comedians.
JUNE
- St. Lucia Golf Open & a two-day golf tournament held at the St. Lucia Golf and Country Club. Open to all golf enthusiasts and amateurs.
JULY
- Carnival & a time of fun and rivalry, calypso music, steel bands and parading of Carnival Bands showing off their costumes.
SEPTEMBER
- St. Lucia Bill Fishing Tournament & an annual event where Anglers from all over the Caribbean come to participate in this three-day competition.
DECEMBER
- ARC & this is the world's largest Trans-Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. The boats leave Gran Canaria late November and the first boat should arrive in Rodney Bay in the first week of December. It is great fun for the sea -faring person.
- St. Lucia Open & an annual event hosted by the St. Lucia Racquet Club and is open to all amateurs and squash players. This event usually attracts the best regional and international players.
